Battle Royale question

Does anyone know the difference between the Battle Royale: the novel and the "Battle Royale Remastered" (novel)?

As far as I can tell it's just a new translation and cover art and also adding an afterword by the author. Here's some details from when it was released. The Battle Royale Slam Book looks quite interesting though and I might have to keep an eye out for that.
