I'm sure most people have seen that there's a new "story" available on Pottermore. (Those who can't find it, click on the Daily Prophet icon on the map, it's the gossip column. I thought it was delightful - Rita's just the worst! I won't say more until others have had a chance to read it!

I'm assuming you have to sign in to get to it? I've been trying to sign in since this morning -- it said it would e-mail me a password reminder but never did (it's been a couple of years since I visited there). Then I created a new account with a new e-mail address, and it said it would e-mail me "joining instructions" but it hasn't. Very frustrating!

Yeah, I'm sure you do have to be signed in to see it. Hope you're able to get in soon!

Me too! It occurs to me the site is probably just overwhelmed today with all the traffic.

Turns out the story is also available at the Today Show site, for those who don't have an account or can't get in for whatever reason! :)

I couldn't help myself -- I cataloged the story here on LT. I saved myself a nice formatted PDF with the story illustration, so it's now like an "e-book" in my possession anyway.

>5 biblioholic29: Thanks, bib! I'm not a member of Pottermore (yes, yes, I know!!), so I was glad to be able to get the new story elsewhere. I was concerned about joining just to get the story, as I feared slow response time from the Pottermore site, which it sounds like Amy experienced. I look forward to reading this over lunch... :)
