Wilburn needs to tune his E string! I thought he was going for an effect, like the slightly differently tuned guitars on Earth A.D. creating a wall of sound, but by the end, I figured otherwise. I enjoyed all the same. Very Wellwater Conspiracy, or, vice versa, to be precise.

With the recent massacre at Charlie Hebdo, the faith-based initiative of ISIS, and whatever daily atrocity gets smeared across the local tabloid, MM just ain't that scary anymore. Or relevant.

I want to see your tail wagging

Killed by Death

If you squeeze my lizard
I'll put my snake on you
I'm a romantic adventure
And I'm a reptile too
But it don't make no difference
'Cos I ain't gonna be, easy, easy
the only time I'm easy's when I'm
Killed by death, Killed by death
Killed by death, Come on!
I'm a lone wolf ligger
But I ain't no pretty boy
I'm a backbone shiver
And I'm a bundle of joy
But it don't make no difference
'Cos I ain't gonna be, easy, easy
The only time I'm easy's when I'm
Killed by death, Killed by death

142: Ah, America, where your vote doesn't count, only the electors do. The Electoral College is turning the US into The Holy Roman Empire, since that also ran on a system of electors, religious violence, and aspiring dynastic poltroons fighting over the throne like two alley cats in heat.

This calls for some music. Maestro, if you please ...

Not a video this time. Dave Thorpe waxes poetic about Sinner's Creed by Creed frontmook Scott Stapp:

https://www.villagevoice.com/2012/10/23/why-scott-stapp-hated-god-and-other-reve...

"It could have been a leaden tale of spiritual struggle, but Stapp — and his veteran rock ghostwriter, David Ritz — pack it with all the qualities that make Creed songs so wonderful: It’s a grandiose, ridiculous, overwrought, egotistical, and unintentionally comical tale of spiritual struggle."
