Who watched it? Oberyn Martell look like he will be great. The dragons have developed an attitude problem. What did you think?

I watched it, and while it was all great, Arya's last scene was my favorite.

It was a good start. It's hard for the first episode to really pack a punch, because you have to get caught up on everyone. The Thenns are NASTY! Arya is turning into a stone-cold killer.

I'm warming up to The Hound, looking forward to his next appearance... This show is soo addictive!

So, the purple wedding. We should probably decline all Westerosi and Dothraki wedding invitations.

Twitter wasn't nearly as much fun after The Purple Wedding as it was after The Red Wedding.

Quick poll on the latest episode - did Jaime rape Cersei or not? It looked a LOT more "forced" than how the book described it. That scene disappointed me - it seemed incongruous in light of Jaime's redemptive arc.

It was consensual in the book. She only got mad at him when he suggested that they could have another baby. In the book he had just returned with Brienne and completely missed the wedding. I'm pissed at the tv writers for doing this.

ETA update - The internet is abuzz with irate fans over this scene.

It was definitely rape in the show. I'll have to reread the scene in the book; it's been a while and I'm not sure how clearly I remember it.

Oh, the Red Viper! He will be missed.

eta - Nightmares after the last episode.

Sad dragons in the finale. Mostly it went well. I'm highly perturbed about Jojen, the missing Cold Hands and Lady Stoneheart. What the heck, Brienne & the Hound! Is Qyburn turning the Mountain into some sort of Frankenstein? Cersei and Jamie were supposed to be at each other's throats by now, metaphorically not literally. Sigh. Too many liberties.

The chaining up the dragons hit me the hardest, for some reason. Another little detail that was changed: In the show, Tyrion and Jaime had this heartfelt goodbye with a touching hug. In the books, they got into a huge fight, and Tyrion told him that, yes, he DID kill Joffrey as he was walking away.

I don't know what the deal is with the Mountain. I would have some patience re:Lady Stoneheart. AFFC had some serious pacing issues - the writers should have plenty of time to weave her (it?) into the storyline. Maybe a shocking opening scene of the premiere???

I thought this was a fantastic season. I'm just worried that things will slooooow doooooown next season.
