Is Anyone Using Google Play to Sell Books?

I'm an author who's recently joined Google Play to sell my books, but I've encountered problems with discoverability. What has been the experience of other authors with Google Play?

Discoverability is they key to everything and every website! Marketing is the hardest part of writing and I don't know what the answer is. Keep plugging it and keep writing.

I'm looking into self publishing options other than Kindle once my KDP membership expires. I'll give Google Play a try and report back on how it goes.

I'm hoping Draft2Digital adds Google Play as a partner soon so I can add my books to that channel.

I tried signing up for it directly, but was told they were not currently signing up any new partners at that time. I'll try again later.
