I've been just a wee bit curious about this subject since I first joined this group. :)
How many things have you actually knitted completely in your life? What are they?
So far, in the last 5 years since I started knitting again (my grandmother taught me when I was 7 or so and I forgot how to do it till I picked it back up from memory about 20 or so odd years later) I have finished off:
4 scarves
1 baby blanket
1 spiderweb capelet
What about you? :)

I have been knitting since I was 16. Can't possibly count all my projects but my favorite things to knit are socks, scarvess, afghans and hats, and booties. Not big on sweaters.

Since 2003: Zillions of hats, scarves and felted bags. 2 baby all-in-ones. 5 toddler sweaters, 1 adult sweater, 1 adult cardigan, 1 maternity tshirt. 4 pairs of socks, 6 pairs of gloves. A waistcoat. A Clanger. A Gruffalo (my own design). An afghan. 3/4 of a coat, 1/4 of a shawl. Lady Eleanor (not mine, but the best blog/photos I've seen for it). Some other things I've no doubt forgotten, and a lot of WIPs that are languishing, including two more adult sweaters, one of which only needs seaming. But it's July and I probably won't get around to that until November...

A lot of things! I'll limit it to the last few years:
6 scarves
4 hats
7 sweaters
2 shawls
3 pairs of mitts
1 pair of mittens
3 pairs of short socks
1 pair of knee socks
1 pair of leg warmers
On the needles right now:
1 sweater
1 tank
I like this thread because it makes me look back on all the projects I don't necessarily think about anymore.

wow! *already green eyes made greener with a touch of envy* If ever there was motivation to knit more projects, THIS IS IT!
I am so proud of all of you! :) How on earth do you find all that time to make such wonderful projects?
----> Esp. you, knittingfreak ( message#8), did you really make all that in just a year??
I didn't add what I have "on the kneedles" (what a wonderful turn of phrase):
three scarves
my first pair of socks
one vest
one sweater (wish me luck! *sigh*)
one hat
HAPPY KNITTING! ;)

Not too much, as I only knit when I'm watching tv or a movie, and I don't really have a lot of time for that while at school, but since learning to knit four years ago I have made:
1 pair of mittens
12 mini Christmas stockings
13? or so scarves (I was in a knitting club at school where we made scarves for a local homeless shelter, so since I don't have them around anymore, I've lost count)
1 purse
1 sweater (the "to dye for" sweater from Stitch n Bitch)
and I currently have another sweater in the works; I'm doing a variation on the "to dye for," but adjusting the sizing a bit so that it will fit me better, and with a boat neck (hopefully...who knows how it will come out). I'm using a solid blue yarn, though, which I got for a steal on ebay.

Let's see: I can go back two years because I inherited my mother-in-law's stash when she died. (And for those of you who hoarde yarn, I urge you to think of those left behind to sort it out!)
I made:
6 double-knit winter scarves
1 boy's vest
6 "chukes" (now called beanies)
1 angora shawl
6 pairs of socks
1 bed jacket
2 small afghans (one to match my Fiestaware)
6 felted bags
12 felted flower pins
2 Monmouth caps for relatives who are Colonial "re-enactors"
2 pairs mittens

Oh, gah. This is like being asked what books I've read and what my favorites are! (And to appreciate that, when I'm in full energy mode, I slam through 3-7 books a week.)
So... um... In the last year:
Socks (many - when in doubt, I knit socks). Hats. A vest. One sweater. Mittens. Sheep puppets. A blouse of handspun tencel-silk.
There's also a fair amount of spinning in my project queue, with each yarn aimed at some project or other down the line.

I've been knitting for 3 years and have done:
2 Devil hats (lost the first one and had to mulligan)
2 long sleave sweaters
1 tank sweater with matching arm warmers (my pattern)
1 Regular tank (in Noro!)
2 pairs of fingerless mittens
1 fablously purple and snot green skirt
1 drop stitch vest
1 Dr Who scarf (my pattern)
Currently on my needles i'm knitting a 3/4 bell sleeve and v-neck sweater, with mohair, in my unairconditioned nightmare of a apartment.

Wow! Everyone else's lists are making me nervous...Ah, well, here goes nothing. In the year and a half (ish) that I've been knitting, I've knit:
quite a few scarves and hats
a tote bag (which stretched sadly)
countless headbands or headscarf-type things for friends
a pair of mittens
On the needles:
a shawl
3 scarves (sad, I know)
a baby blanket square
my first (ah!) sock (going very slowly)

Hmm. Okay, cool question.
Since I started blogging two years ago:
1 men's raglan sweater
1 baby bonnet
1 baby sweater
4 baby hats
2 baby jackets
2 child hats
3 adult hats
4 adult scarves
1 moebius scarf
1 ruana
1 men's sleeveless pullover
3 pair men's socks
2 lace doilies
1 lace christening shawl
1 reticule (purse)
And I think there are a few other things I'm forgetting. Didn't realize I'd been so productive.
