What is that animule in #3? It looks like a cross between a deer and a mouse.

It's a baby Kirk's Dik-Dik antelope. They only get to be about 12"-16" tall as adults (according to the interwebs).

I'd bet that the animal in #3 is either a key deer or a sitka deer. They are both tiny little deer and utterly adorable both as babies and adults. :)

OK, would you poison/trap/kill this baby? Yes, it's a RAT But, but...

It's funny, not Ha. Ha. but ironic. My Max (Cat) is killing a 'rattling' several times a week. It is breeding season. I do feel very sorry for the 'wee beasties' but don't interfer.

I think the thread should be able to bear a little irony: the beauty of a tiger on the attack, the cuteness of a potentially disease bearing, grain spoiling rodent. I hate snakes, and I'll put up with them here for the sake of the inclusiveness of cute.

The cat and the owl look like the ones in the longer runs of a pair of buddies. One of them, I think the cat, died recently.

I just happened to bring up this thread while a version of Green Sleeves is playing on Bill Mcglaughlin's radio show. The dog in 144 is dancing in perfect time with it. He says that it is a Scots version by Ian F. Benzie, but a quick search of YouTube doesn't find it.
