If anyone is interested, a project has just been started, online, to transcribe the handwritten manuscripts (notebooks and the final, handwritten draft sent to the publisher) of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. They are trying to make a plain text, searchable version of the manuscript, as I understand it.
They are enlisting the public's help to do the transcription: a kind of crowd sourcing. So if you want to, you can volunteer and do a small section.
