The Book of Matt

A new book about the Matthew Shepherd case is out and I won't get to it til it gets to me. But I know some principle actors in getting the book published and believe in the book. I posted in Pro/con and got a very, very cheap comment about the book. Basically, the story is that a somewhat acclaimed gay investigative journalist wrote the book and the big news is that it may not have been a gay hate crime. sounds like a compelling story, everything i have read suggests good journalism.
Angered at the cheap shot (no elaboration or backup) I bring it to the fine people of Le Salon.

How do you feel about "Matt"'s inability to address the allegations of his killers?

How do you feel about being ungenerous and taking cheap shots?
