I am looking for erotica book recommendations that do not contain BDSM or group sex. I would also prefer stand alone books, rather then series.
thanks
thanks

I liked Salt on our Skin (Les vaisseaux du coeur) by Benoite Groult.

thanks for the recommendation, but the book is old and hard to find. All I can find are expensive used copies, and I'm not interested in paying extra for shipping.

Try looking at books under the tag "erotica". It's so difficult to recommend single books when each of us have particular interests. Straight or gay? Historical or current? A little plot and lots of sex or sex as part of a story? And so on....Once you start reading a few that interest you, Librarything will start generating recommendations. Another thing you can do is look at the main page of an erotica book you truly love. Click on the other people who have that book and see if they might have other books in their library that intrigue you.

ok thanks for the recommendation
For me I guess it would be straight (I've never actually read any with a gay couple, but 2 guys would still be ok), current (but historical is still ok), sex as part of the plot

It's hard to find any that doesn't really contain the BDSM theme. It seems that it has taken over since FSOG. I will think on it and get back to you. LOL

Okay, I asked around and this is what I got. I haven't read any of these. Some sound like they might be paranormal.
Glass Towers series by Adler and Holt
The Dream Man Series by Kristen Ashley
Claimed (Brides of the Kindred) by Evangeline Anderson
A Touch of Greek (Out of Olympus #1) by Tina Folsum
Eternity and a day by Aline hunter
the freakii shifters bundle by eve langlais
Therons destiny by Rebecca pond and rebecca lorino

I have just read Empowered by Nikki Rosbanks, its quite naughty but I found it a really good read with an interesting storyline, if that helps. Thats no BDSM or group sex but its quite erotic at times, hot stuff.

THIS MAN is also very good, I thought it was much better than the fifty shades series

thanks for the recommendations, I'll have to check out the titles.
Although I haven't looked at the title yet, for future recommendations, books would also have to be available in print as I do not have an e-reader.

I agree, ever since FSOG, BDSM seems to have taken over, that's why I'm asking for recommendations so that I can have some variety.

I can't think why I didn't think of him before, but I seem to remember that most of the prolific output of Ray Gordon avoids your dislikes.
12Vonini
I've read The Upskirt Exhibitionist by Ray Gordon and there wasn't much story there. Just lots of sex. And definitely group sex.

You'll note that in my original comment (11) I used the word 'most'. I'm not convinced that RG is even a single author, but the guiding principle in all erotic literature is that what readers find erotic varies as much (at least) as any form of sexual preference, and you have to kiss a lot of frogs before your find an acceptable prince/princess!

Duly noted. It was just the only one I read by RG and I wanted to warn novelsandmangacrazy that this particular book falls outside of her preferences. I can't comment on any other books by RG.
And I definitely agree with the frog comment! :-)
