It seems I get lost in the 75 books challenge, so I wanted to do something more manageable.

Today I finished Middlemarch, which I've struggled through bit too much to give it a full five stars, but whicis still good enough to warrant fours stars. Wonderfully fleshed-out characters, and the wit and wisdom is really there.

C is for Collins, and I've just finished the Hunger Games trilogy, which I bought for myself after this years exams. Great literature for letting my head wind down!

M is for Mitchell, whose famous doorstopper of a book I read over a very warm week in Bonn this summer. The book varied between wonderful and appalling, hitting most levels of quality inbetween...

S is for Sedaris, and I seem to be in love with this man (though I fear I am too young and too female for him. Also, I hear we're both taken). I have heard some of his work on this American Life, but this is the first time I've read a book of his.

I saw Sedaris for the first time last year and he was hysterical!

Good luck with your challenge!

8: Thank you!

B is apparently for (de) Berniers, or so LT tells me. OK book, disliked the somewhat contrived last part.

D is for Dickens, specifically David Copperfield. Wow, a Dickens novel I actually liked!

K is for King, and I just finished The Stand. I wish I read it ten years ago, I would have loved it then, now I "just" liked it.

W is for Wheaton (and I'm trying my best not to turn this into a Sheldon Cooper imitation. "WHEEAAATON!" ...oh darn it). Anyhow, Just a geek was fun and heartwarming. Nice read.

R is for Roy. The God of Small Things was a nice read, but something bothered me about it that I can't quite put my finger on. Which bothers me some more...

Went on a one week vacation. First I got ill with the stomach flu, then boyfriend. Thus I had the time to read a bit :)

A is for Archer. Kane and Abel was all right, and a relatively easy/fast read.

F is for Feist. I finished Silverthorn some time ago, but forgot to put it in here. Now I also read A Darkness at Sethanon. I like his style of semi-light fantasy.
