I enjoyed that. It led me to follow several of the links on the same page until I told myself I'd have to stop and pulled away. It was easily a rabbit hole.

I took Meredys post as a fore warning and avoided clicking on other links. I'll save that for my night off when I have more time to kill. *g*

It's all true. You will need several hours of Non Reading Time *gasp*
to appreciate this site :-)

ETA. Many hours later, I do like both versions of "The Wicker Man". Though the Cage version was not British enough for me.

I've never heard anyone (not paid to do so) say anything good about the remake. I haven't watched it; but I'm a repeat viewer of the original.

Must clean glasses. I thought I would find advice for escaping from a "wicker van".

5, 6: I don't see how the 1973 version with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee could possibly have been improved upon.

It couldn't have been. that movie is so good I wish I could forget it and watch it fresh every time. The gobsmacked sensation is just too awesome. I just saw what???? OMG. They completely had me.

I rather liked the original staged production, though I understand it was savagely critiqued by Caius Iulius Caesar.
