I've never cared for ginger moggies, and he's the second one to come my way— showed up on the harvest moon and we named him for it. Cats that roam don't last long out here, with owls, coyotes, foxes, and cougars, and he's survived for nearly eight years.

Here's another— he loves to perch on my sailing skiff. He wouldn't be keen on sailing, I reckon, since he goes yowling mad just riding in a car.

I went through some recent pics of my guys a few hours ago & I just keep staring at this one:

*melt*

17guido47
Editado: Jun 15, 2013, 7:27 am

What can I say? I just wish my 2 got within a metre of each other without snarling. And for once it
is mainly 'Lizzys' fault. Less than half Max's size, 3+ times his age and a real bitch. For once the female is truley at fault :-(

ETA. I still love you Lizzy and you too Max!

Glamour shot of the Moon Cat. Wish I looked this good in photos.

And here he is on the railing of the deck:

The Moon Cat certainly is a handsome guy!

He's a monster. Despite his bell, he just carried a juvenile ground squirrel in today. I heard it skreeking and rescued it undamaged.

He was very put out.

Great photos; looks like he has a lot of personality. Also, I like the landscape.

Astrid looking grumpy. Maybe she prefers color photos.

She looks like the French cat in the "Chat Noir" videos. (Can't remember the name)

Gazing quietly into the middle distance...suffering silently from that pain that has no name...knowing deep in her heart that no one will ever understand...sigh...

SQUEEEEEEE!~

So adorable, all of them.

Ahem, ahem, #29, It is considered 'good manners' to always have piccys of our Cats (and Dogs if necessay, OK and children as well) on our profile page.

Err. Just a suggestion.

ETA. This sort of thing does really, disgruntle, Tim as well :-)

31HRHTish
Jul 8, 2013, 8:39 pm

OK OK they're up on my profile now :-)

None with my books though, I'll need to catch them hanging out in my library.

32krazy4katz
Jul 8, 2013, 10:29 pm

30: So, do you think Tim is really really disturbed by cats? How could that be? Cats and libraries go together!

33guido47
Editado: Jul 9, 2013, 3:36 am

I think Tim once mentioned he is not 'against' CATs but is alergic to them. But don't spoil the myth of
that dasterdly Sir Tim and the Cat...

ETA. I think Tim was just bemused by how many members have Cat pictures on their profile.

>32 krazy4katz:. I had a cat that peed all over my books, which were boxed up in a closet at my mother's.

So, it ain't necessarily so.

Dear Group,

This isn't an 'Artistic Photo' by any means, but... after 4 years of Max and Lizzy spatting (all Liz's fault, at least for the last 3 years. Max just wanted to play and sniff her bum :)

I suspect Lizzy was so asleep she had just given up...

I hope that in about 3 years time (when Lizzy is 21 and Max about 10) I might even get a picture of them snuggling. But Pigs might fly...

My cat also loves to eat paper! I thought she just needed more fiber in her diet...

53MerryMary
Ago 2, 2013, 9:40 am

Mine doesn't eat paper, she just chews it up and spits out confetti all over the place. Annoying, especially when she finds the mail before I do.

54HRHTish
Ago 2, 2013, 10:06 am

My Gabby licks photographs, ewwwww.

I also recommend hiding the rubber flipflops from the kitties: They may discover they like the feeling of their fangs poking through them.

Ago 2, 2013, 7:45 pm

My Lexi loves tearing through paper too and getting her saliva all over it. If I'm not careful, she'll chew through all my bills!

Yeah, my Illyria likes paper with glue on it. Like junk mail envelopes!

Buzz eats the corners off of junk mail, paper bags and sometimes cardboard.

He licks the strings of my harp. I don't know why.
