"Life is what's happening while we are making some other plans."

Are you on track?, they'll ask me, and Sure I am, I'll reply, but WHICH track to WHERE, nobody knows.

I envy everyone who wanted to end up where they ended up. But where is this end? I can't even tell how far I got.

Don't run so fast, someone told me once, you'll overtake your goal. I think that's exactly what may have happened.

And I always hated going back SO MUCH.

Maybe 2013 will be good for doing a few things I hate.

So, let's see, a few plans:

1. go back someplace, to any of the old places

2. learn Norwegian

3. either pay off the mortgage or sell the thing (whither books?!)

4. break up for the last time, forever

5. bury the ashes of burnt bridges, forever

6. play chess every day

7. write real letters once a month

8. go to some new place

aa...nnn...d...

Well, that looks busy enough.

Am I on track? I can't fully truthfully answer that question re myself. One way or another I'm on my track though.

Once you don't have a track it's impossible to derail.
