Has anyone read A Bride's Story by Kaoru Mori? Is it any good? It’s a new series (Vol 3 comes out tomorrow) and I want to know if it’s worth buying because I really enjoyed Emma. It just sounds weird. A 20-year-old woman marries a 12-year-old boy.

Vol 3 has been out for a few weeks - I know since I've already received it and read it ;)
And, actually, it's not really "A 20-year-old woman marries a 12-year-old boy." at all!
It's a historical series set in the Middle East along the Spice Road in the late 19th century (Victorian era, same as Emma). It's a cultural study of the region specifically as pertains to young women's rights and options, I guess you could say. Yeah, Amir is about 20 years old and her family marries her off to a 12-year-old, but she's not the main character of the series, and the first two volumes are about why that would happen and what it means to her and her new husband.
The main character is actually Mr Smith, an anthropological linguist from England, who is in the region studying the language and customs. At the end of volume 2, he sets off back to Turkey to replenish his supplies and tend to correspondence, and the story follows him. Then in the 3rd volume, he meets a new "bride" to learn her story.
It's really well done, and beautifully drawn, with loads of details.

I love this series, though I've only read the first two volumes. The art is beautiful and the historical and anthropological detail is amazing. I've spent time in Central Asia, though farther east than where this story takes place, so I knew I had to read it as soon as it was available. If you liked Emma I'd think you will enjoy this too.

I love A Bride's Story. I just picked up volume 3 and cannot wait to read it. Mori-sensei's artwork is so detailed and gorgeous in this series.

I noticed that online it said that the book was hard cover, which is unexpected. Is it the save size as regular manga?

It's a bit larger than typical manga. It's comparable in size to Yen Press's LNs (but with a hard cover) or the Bunny Drop manga. I took a comparison photo at some point, I'll look for it for you.
The page count is the same, though - right about 204ish including the author note and table of contents. There aren't any ads in it, I guess to keep the quality up with the hardcover thing?

Sorry for the blur!
This is from July of last year. You can see that on the left I have the fancy box for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, then LNs and Bunny Drop, then Wandering Son and A Bride's Story, then some misc manga.
Wandering Son is really, really big in comparison to most manga you'll find, but not in comparison to graphic novels or comic compilations in general. It's being published by Fantagraphics, which is a high quality comics publisher and not a typical manga publisher. It's sooo worth every bit. I can't wait until the summer for the 3rd volume.

Finished v.3 this weekend - can't wait to see where the story goes next. And I appreciated the glimpse of a map that we got in this volume.
