A bunch of the "agents" showed up this morning demanding the annual dues. (What do you call a group of squirrels?) I'm sure I paid my pinecones last August. Who's keeping the records, now?

Oh, and by the way, did the minutes of the 1748 meeting ever get approved?

Was there a quorum at that meeting?

A remember there was a quarrel.

Was it the quarrel that began with a question about Quorn?

Quite possibly. It was a quandary, fersure.

The quorum put the quietus on the Quorn quarrel. Quite a quest underway to keep it quiet.

For this conversation a group of squirrels is a quirrelss. (Pronounced 'Christ, where did all these squirrels come from?').

Do we separate them by colour? and is one group superior?

Of course, #10,

One Group is always superior/inferior.

How else would we not have war and strife?

Seperate the Koalas from the echidnas, please!

Them's nasty critters, anyway. Please takes your pick :-)

A full quirrels of squirrels are required to acquire the annual dues. As dues were last collected in August, this scurrilous quirrels of squirrels are scandalously collecting payment prematurely. They will thus be referred to the SPITTING COBRAS for disciplinary action.

Perhaps it is time to put the agent contract out for bid. I've heard that there are a lot of pigeons willing to work for just chicken feed.

Chickens work for "chicken feed".
Pigeons work for Union Rates. Although in the US of A.
I wonder who is better off?

All I know is that I seem to see an awful lot of unemployed pigeons, sitting on benches or else wandering aimlessly about in the park.

Umm... if your "pigeons" strut, preen and err...breed
They are fully employed, as far as Pigeon employmemt goes!

ETA. What they do in their off time is surely up to them.

What about the May fling? Do we have to wear matching galoshes again? and what is the colour code this year?

Puce. Matching galoshes optional.

If it's being held in that swamp again, I'm weariing waders. Puce, of course.

If matching galoshes are optional, only one of mine will be puce. The other will be mauve.

Personally I object to galoshes. I suspect they disturb the very structure of the space-time continuum.

But maybe that's just me.
