I've just joined LibraryThing and am very pleased to find a Trollope group.
I read the Barsetshire Chronicles some years ago and have reread The Warden and Barchester Towers once more. I've also read The Way We Live Now; Can You Forgive Her and Phineas Finn.
I've listened to the BBC radio serialisation of Barsetshire and the Pallisers; I have seen the tv serialisations of He Knew He Was Right, Barsetshire and the Pallisers & The Way We Live Now.
I've started to collect the Folio Society volumes.
Of the ones I have and that are unread: John Caldigate, Dr Wortley's School, Ayala's Angel & Lady Anna which would you suggest?
Thank you!

Hello ArchdukeGuacamole, hope you enjoy the group. Of the ones you have to read I'd suggest Dr Wortle's School next. Good luck with collecting the Folio Trollopes they make a beautiful set.

Thank you Mweb. I'll follow your advice and report back.

I've just finished Dr Wortle. I didn't find myself really engaged by any of the characters, the headmaster excepted; which is possibly why the book was named as it is rather than after Peacocke.
Anyway, time for another Trollope.

I have just about every book published in the U.S. by Trolloppe. I read all of them in the 1980s and 1990s. My favorites include He Knew He Was Write and the Palliser novels.
