I checked the PBS discussion forums yesterday as I posted an ARC there. The topics for ARC say you can offer it for a credit or free if someone selects something from your shelf which I did so that was all well and good. Someone grabbed it up.

I then realized I had some unpostables (books more in acceptable condition) so I checked out the unpostable thread. It said you couldn't offer these free with an order for something from your bookshelf. You had to just be willing to mail it free. I'd be very willing to throw one or more of mine in free with an order from my bookshelf but don't think I could afford to just send them out one by one. I was wondering if we could list here and see if anyone wanted them with an order from our bookshelves? I am rxtheresa on PBS.

I'd take a look at what you have.

Great. I'm off from work tomorrow so I'll get mine together then and list them.

I see unpostables offered free with an order all the time. I think that what you saw just refers to what you offer in the unpostable thread. Those have to be sent free. But you can add a line to your profile offering them free when someone orders a book from you. You can also advertise in the bargain bazaar and offer them free if someone orders something else from your shelf. I think there is even a running thread in the bargain bazaar where you can do that. You can also ask a credit for a wishlisted unpostable as long as you don't do it from the sticky unpostable thread on top. I think there is a running thread in the bargain bazaar for that, too. You just have to state clearly that it is unpostable and what is wrong with it, and that you'd like a credit for it. Ask anyone who is interested to PM you to arrange the transaction. I believe that you can make any kind of deal that you want as long as you do it in a regular post in the Bargain Bazaar and not from the sticky thread at the top.

I'll also be happy to take a look here when you post them.

Thanks Dadena, I thought there was a way you could offer them with your bookshelf. I will list some here also but the past week has been kind of crazy around here and I want to get several of them together. I have to do a power point presentation on glaucoma at work today. Theresa

I finally got some of my unpostables together.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 0-439-06487-2 Trade Size Pages gotten crinkled as if damp at one point but no stains

Cold Sassy Tree 0-440-51442-8 Trade Size Just very well read, pages clean, name inside, fold on back cover

Beanie Baby Stories 1892016014 Pages clean but clear film over cover of book is crinkled, problem in manufacturing process

Marriage by the Book Joan Johnston 1551666987 Stain along top of first 48 pages - wouldn't interfere with reading

A Confederacy of Dunces 0394178009 - well read folds on cover

Bridge to Terabithia 0064401847 - pages wrinkled as if gotten wet no stains, folds on covers

TAKEN: Dead Until Dark Charlaine Harris 978-0441-01699-0 - would be considered very good if top of last 50 pages hadn't gotten wet & are crinkled, no stains

White Smoke by Andrew Greeley 0812590554 -stain at bottom of about last 75 pages, doesn't interfere with reading

God Must be Sad by Fannie Hurst - Basically an older paperback that I had to glue the cover back on but it seems to be holding well. Also a few underlines in book.

I'm willing to throw in one or 2 of these free with each book ordered from my bookshelf.

I have a copy of The Book Thief by Markus Zusak that is in good shape but has worn covers. Here on LT it says it is the most wishlisted book but I put it in the PBS Book Bazaar and on Changobooks and no one has requested it so I thought I'd ask here if someone wanted it or maybe would want it to post on BM since I'm locked out of there.

This was taken. Thanks.

>8 moonshineandrosefire: I think you are also on Changobooks? If so if you would put Endless Night by Agatha Christie on Chango, I'll get it from you there don't worry if ISBN doesn't match it is for a friend of mine from India collecting Agatha Christie and she's not picky about things like that or the Chinese on back cover. Thanks.

Great! Yes, the site was down for quite a while yesterday due to some upgrades, which was really frustrating because I had a wrapper to print. I'll get those packed up and mailed today.

Hello again, everybody! :) I'm back with a couple of unpostables from my most recent TBR clearing:

Family Album - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read. I will say that I have an extra copy of this book already on my bookshelf. This copy is a bit more battered than the one on my bookshelf - there is a corner of the front cover torn off, but the cover itself is still strongly attached.

Iceberg - Donated by someone for my local library's book sale, bought at my local library's book sale for fifty cents. This book is still in relatively good reading condition and the cover is still strongly attached although it does show signs of being well read. I've also just noticed some slight, but still noticeable, staining on the bottom pages of the book. It looks like water or some other liquid - not sure.

I have a few more to unpostables too:
Eyes of Crow by Jeri Smith-Ready: Stain on one page (I can't tell if it's a printing error ink blotch or something else) and one page has a small hole in it. Several pages are dog-eared.

Unnatural Issue by Mercedes Lackey: It has some light stains on a few pages and the spine is very creased.

License to Ensorcell by Katharine Kerr: Stain on one page, very small tears in the edges of a few pages, top corner of page edges is darkened.

All are either free with requests from my shelf or one credit each.
