A new year and a new challenge. My total reading is posted on Book of the month club so many items will be cross posted:

and to the following groups: Alphabet challenges for 2012 (Didn't finish all letters in both authors and titles in 2011 but this is a new start)
http://www.librarything.com/topic/129935
and Dewey decimal challenge (for my lifetime!)

I am still committed to writing reviews, non-fiction being much easier for me than fiction. But belonging to the Go Review this book group has widened my horizons and I have even tackled a book of short stories.

I have to recommend two books on health, The wisdom of heart health by Manshadi, - review here and Life’s little emergencies : a handbook for active independent seniors and caregivers by Ron Brouhard - review here.

Don't be put off by the subtitle in the latter. It's really a book for everyone.

Well, half a year gone. I read 18 non-fiction books the first half. (I haven't added up the fiction to make a grand total.)

First July book and I am now reading Imagination and meaning in Calvin and Hobbes, my June LTER.
