Tagging books for the Atlantian Reference Library

WOW! Over 6,400 books in just 3 days! Go Atlantia! Do we get a war point for that?

I'm posting to suggest that those of us mixing our personal and SCA libraries on Librarything designate books for this library with the Tag "Atlantian Reference Library". Then browsing each other's libraries can be streamlined. Happy researching!

Is there a way to add tags globally? Cut and pasting a tag for almost 200 books is lots of work. Does anyone out there know how or if we can do this?

Hmmm. I'm not sure about this one. I've ust done the list view and pasted each time. Most of my books don't have tags yet, but I'm working on it.

You can ask Tim Spalding, the creator. He's very approachable and usually e-mails you back or leaves a reply on your comments.

I talked to him about Fox 5 doing a story about LibraryThing last year!

The Power Edit feature (look for the little button with PE and a pencil in your catalogue view) should allow you to select books and apply a tag to all of them. It might still involve some manual checking of books, if you have all your books and not just your SCA books in your catalogue, but it should be faster than copy/paste for each individual book
