I had almost forgotten the first book - I am following the series since book 6 (read the first 6 in a row) was the latest so it had been a while and decided to read it again - just because it was there and I was feeling like reading some Dresden and Ghost Story was not yet out.
I remembered the plot. Kinda. I had no memories whatsoever for how Harry won at the end. And a lot of things that I never paid attention to back in the days now started making a lot more sense... and added a layer to the whole thing.
Anyone else rereading for the first time after starting to follow years before?

I have re-listened. I bought the audio books at the start of the year, when I was up at night with the little monster, it was great listening to James Marster's reading for me. And you are right, alot of things that I didn't pick up on at the time. It's been 10 years since I last read the first books so bit of a mind gap as such. I am impressed by the odd things I remembered. I have 1-4 in audio as that's all that's on audible. But want to get more, just so expensive in the UK to get hold of the rest of them.
