No, I have not finished this challenge yet, but some of you have, or at least you're getting close! When you finish, let us know by posting to this thread. Leave a link to your challenge thread so we can marvel at your accomplishment, and feel free to brag a little! :)

I finished my challenge. I said I would do a minimum of 7 and up to 11 in each category. It took me 90 books (based on the numbering in my 75 book thread) to do it. Original thread is here: http://www.librarything.com/topic/96728

I have created bonus categories with no limits or minimums at: http://www.librarything.com/topic/118727

I was really close to finishing until I got my ER book from May which would only fit into a miscellaneous category which was already full. So I upped my goal to 6 books per category and will press on toward that.

I have finished my challenge:)
As I (started and) finished early, I am going to try doing a second one, but a step version this time. I was going to read 20 Bonus books, but thought this would be more fun.

Here is my original thread: http://www.librarything.com/topic/97021

Hi everyone! I finished my 11 in 11 goal for this year (4 books per category). I really enjoyed this and will be participating in the 12 in 12 next year with a slightly bigger goal.

Here is my thread if you're interested.

never spotted this thread before - I've finished my challenge but am plugging away at the TBR as "bonus" reads which I'm adding to the same thread

> thanks for the bump up - I had forgotten this thread even though it was starred. I'm finished with my challenge for the year although it was only 66 books. Which is great for me because last year I only managed to read 50 which is around my usual amount. Needless to say I will be continuing on - 1: because I couldn't not read for the rest of the year and 2: to see how many books I'll end up with. I'm probably going to try and stay within my categories if I can.

I am also pleased to say that I am finished. It was a tough one for me because some of my categories ended up being arduous after a few books, but I am glad that I stuck it out. I have much less in my TBR basket (I lie.... I just continue to top it up with new books which I have been inspired to buy from reading the old ones). Just a few minutes ago I finished my last book My Career Goes Bung by Miles Franklin... I loved it, but the problem is that she was a writer so there are many other books mentioned (which I naturally must either buy or download from Project Gutenburg Australia if I can't track down a copy to buy). So here is the list if you want to have a peek... I think next year I will make more of an attempt to comment on what I have read.

Now I am looking forward to the 12-12 but wont start until January, so I will bide my time by finishing up those other challenges I have not been able to resist. Cheers!

I finished last night and reached my goal of 132 books. I did a standard 11x11 and added another category with 11 also. See my thread below.

http://www.librarything.com/topic/114880

I'll be around with holiday reads, general "off the shelf' picks as well as catching up on the never ending series books that I keep finding out about.

Congrats to everyone!

Thank you all. I had the devil of a job picking out a book to bring to work with me today. So many to choose from but without a space in the challenge to guide me. A terrifying prospect for the next 2 months. Though I really should work on some of those other ongoing challenges I have too!

I finished my 11 in 11 challenge tonight. Oddly enough, at 11:11 pm.

I read 11 books in each of 11 categories, for a total of 121 books.

For the rest of the year, I am hoping to read whatever I feel like but, in particular, books off my shelf. A strong dose of holiday-themed books, too.
