It's June! Time for summer! (For where I live, that means 90+ temperatures. :/ )

An ARC of The Friendship Doll by Kirby Larson arrived in the mail yesterday.

I'm new to this group. Where does everyone get their ARC's? I know about the Early Reviewers but I know there's more programs out there, I just don't know where.

Thanks

GoodReads has a program similar to Early Reviewers, but I get most of my ARCs from Random Buzzers (a program from Random House) or win them in giveaways from publishers and blogs.

An ARC of State of Wonder by Ann Patchett came today, and the book itself is beautiful. It has french flaps and deckle edged pages-on an ARC!

State of Wonder arrived today - wow, it is a nice ARC!
Did Shelf Awareness post a giveaway for this one? I can't think of how else I would have received it.

I won i'd know you anywhere from the April batch. I didn't receive it until recently, so I'm reading it now. I'm so disappointed! It's a stinker! Anyone else win this book? What do you think of it?

Yesterday I received another book I won, The Upright Piano Player. It's hard cover, but it's a prerelease for the U.S.

I've been meaning to read Rot and Ruin, I wonder if I could get to that AND Dust and Decay before the end of August when that galley expires...
