Here's a little review for a fun little book. Anyone think it's missing anything or if I could clarify anything please let me know

Thanks in advance.

***********************************************************************************************
Accidental Genius of Weasel High is a fictitious account of a high school freshmen, Larkin Pace, as he writes journal/blog entries for his English class assignment. He talks about everything, the dogs ‘Buddy’ and other animals they seem to collect, his sister and her selfish ‘trollish’ behavior, his best friend who he thought was his girlfriend and the fun they have quoting movies. His other best friend who he has strange adventures with, his fantasies about his dream of becoming a famous movie director and and even thinks he’s going to get a jump start when he gets a chance to act in a commercial. It’s full of little vignettes looking into his life and it is both humorous and touching.

I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it. It a mix of a journal writing style with comics interspersed to help visualize what is going on in the scenes. It is not really a graphic novel, more like the Dilbert Principal, text telling the story with comics thrown in to help punctuate the telling. It’s a quick read and for any one who likes to read fun humorous stories about joys and frustrations of high school without getting too serious, give this one a try.

Your link Accidental Genius of Weasel High goes to this page, rather than to the work page.

In "more like the Dilbert Principal, Text telling the story", I don't think "Text" should have capital T.

Thanks, I used touchstones it seems weird it would reference this thread.

I'm making the 't' change in the one above since it's so small.

Any others?

In the first sentence "freshmen" should be singular.

The second sentence is a bit awkward. It might be helped by using a colon and semi-colons instead of commas. Should "dogs" be singular?

The third sentence reads funny. It seems more like a continuation of the previous sentence. You have an extra "and" after "movie director".

Seems like an entertaining read.

A little better?

In the first paragraph, the second sentence is very confusing. Specifically it is the dogs ‘Buddy’ and other animals they seem to collect. Is 'Buddy' a single dog? Are there multiple dogs called buddy? Who is 'they' in animals they seem to collect? The Pace family?

In the fourth sentence, I think 'jump-start' should be hyphenated, but I'm not positive it is necessary.

Yes, they (the Pace family) keep collecting the strays people leave on the road near their farm and all the dogs are named 'Buddy' I thought it was funny and so threw that in there. While it was confusing you still got it all right! I'll make is a little easier though.

It is a funny point. But it is confusing if you aren't already in on the joke. How about the dogs (all named ‘Buddy’) and other animals the family seem to collect
