Oh, creepy. For a second, when I read the topic, I thought you meant he'd disappeared completely; but honestly, I don't know. Horror's not so popular any more?
3ScribbleScribe
Well he was having trouble with his publisher so maybe that has something to do with it?

You're correct scribblescribe, He was able to regain rights to his work from his former publisher. He has now joined with Deadite Press to republish much of his work. Yeah!!!
The Undead Rat has a nice blog writeup on his Deadite publications:

Oh so they are working on reprinting his stuff? =)

Hey I noticed in that blog it said his books are being sold by barnes & nobles & Amazon.com, but it didn't list Borders...

Huh, you're right. A quick search of Borders doesn't show these republishings by Deadite press. No sure why as both paperback and ebook forms are sold through B&N and Amazon. You can also get the paperback through Books A Million. I don't know why Borders wouldn't carry them.
Unless it's just a business decision by Borders. I know they are struggling and closing stores.

Well this issue is now moot because Borders is closing. LOL

Yeah, I was thinking of that the other day too. So has Leisure Books, who brough Keene to prominance in the first place.
It is a dark time to be a book reader I think. Either that or I need to embrace e-books. Something i'm not rushing to do.
