Human nature is that if you pull up one of those reviews, see the link, see a legitimate appearing profile, you'll click on the link to read the review on the blog. The blue flag that's there doesn't tell you anything, it serves to pique your curiousity in this instance.
If there were a way to indicate, by a different colored flag that this was a bad link, then that would probably stop ninety percent of those that would click the bad link trying to fins out what the fuss was about.
Sure blue flags are there, but they really don't tell us anything useful.

Usually, they don't need to tell us anything, because when you see "$3.00" or "jl;ksjf " (seriously: http://www.librarything.com/work/3092/reviews/70787035), it's pretty obvious. But I agree that a comment field, such as we have for images, or a different color flag, would be useful in cases like your example.

I shouldn't have said useless because there is some worth to them as you pointed out some of the no-reviews are simple and obvious. And thanks for mentioning images because that term has escaped me

Part of the problem is what does "Not a Review" mean. Some people don't believe that just a summary constitutes a review. Others don't like the single word or single sentence reviews. Some people might flag a "short" review that doesn't meet the ER standards, even if the book wasn't an ER copy.
A better guideline might need to be established.
Perhaps the flag should create a notice that goes to the user regarding the flag (as a private message). Something outside of simply "Not a Review."
As for the links, I've always disliked them, for the very reason that this thread started: The blog dies and you lose the review. If nothing else, require a couple sentences of opinion to include a link... something/anything to give us that review after the blog dies.
Sometimes, going back and leaving a comment helps, but you need to check the date of the review too. I have reviews that got flagged that were put on the system in 2007. I doubt the user has checked those reviews...
