Have any of you read Solidarity for Sale by Robert Fitch? I'm wondering what Fitch's politics are vis a vis unions--that is, is it a left critique or a right critique, or does it not fit into a simple category like that?

I haven't read it, but I noticed one of the reviews on Amazon had an interesting discussion of Fitch's politics: "Fitch's politics appear to be a cross between 18th century Jeffersonian democracy and 21th (sic) century anti authoritarian anarchism... Fitch speaks, at length, of Thomas Jefferson's dream of an America of independent small business owners... Fitch speaks nostalgically of the socialism of Gene Debs and Jack London." Looks more like a left critique than a right one, though that reviewer has a lot more to say.
Sounds like it could be interesting, though several reviews criticize the book's structure and organization pretty harshly.
