Being Human on the SyFy Channel

For awhile now I've been seeing commercials on the SyFy Channel saying Being Human starts there on January 17. I hope they don't try to Americanize it like they did the British Comedy Coupling. When NBC Americanized it for their audiences it ruined the show. Does anyone know whether or not Being Human is coming back for a third season on BBC America? What does everyone here think about the SyFy Channel running Being Human?

You might check the Syfy channel's website and see how they are wording the promos. Not all shows from the UK get "Americanized" and it's, no doubt, a lot less expensive to just pay to run a UK show than to film a new version.

However, yes, American versions of successful UK shows sometimes get made. Examples: "The Office" and "Life on Mars."
