Is this the same as the behavior that mixes in non-English Related Series with the English ones? Just making sure i'm reading this right.

The green boxes over on the right - related series, related places, etc. - draw information from all language versions of CK.

It would be super nice if the "related ____" boxes on author pages, series pages, other CK pages had a little note saying which language site they come from.

It has been suggested before, but only for series the series page.

5 - My guess is that it just lists the top X CK entries based on frequency or overlap. So if there's an author with 10 books listed with the location Paris, and 9 books with the location Parijs listed in the Dutch CK, then 8 books listed with London, 7 with New York, etc., 7 with Nueva Yorca in the Spanish site, you'd get Paris, Parijs, London, New York, Nueva Yorca, etc.

Or if it's a series, and 80% of the books also match a series listing on the Dutch site, it will likely show that. But if only 10% of the books in the series overlap with series listings on the Bulgarian site, it might not show that if there are higher degrees of overlap with other series. I don't know where the cut-offs are.

I thought I would revive this thread:

With the new series implementation, series titles now have translations (previously belonged to common knowledge) attached to them with different language merges.

There's still no fix for "related places" simply pulling up different language translations for them, is there?

For instance, the Dutch translation: Prins Edwardeiland, Canada and English site: Prince Edward Island, Canada locations both show up on each other's pages of related places.
