- Sobre mi biblioteca
- Genres I like dark fiction and literature, mythology, folk tales, Bizarro fiction, Beatnik writers, historical accounts, prose, poetry, graphic novels, true crime, comics, biographies, entertainment, sociology, psychology, philosophy, research.
Neil Gaiman is becoming my favorite author I feel. I love his use of characters, mythology and storytelling in all his books. I also like Clive Barker and his mix of gore and dark fantasy. Roald Dahl is another I always remember reading growing up and always entertained by. Joey Goebel is a name everyone should know, his 2 books have amazing characters and everything he is just intense. Francesca Lia Block is one of the most gifted talents I have ever read. Her words and descriptions are beyong belief, very poetic. Douglas Copeland is another great talent, his books always entertain, and his characters are so honest. Other authors I have enjoyed works by include Stephen King, John Saul, some Dean Koontz, Douglas Coupland, David Sedaris, Augusten burroughs, Tara VanFlower, The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, Chuck Palahniuk, Jack Kerouac, Anne Rice (mostly the Vampire Chronicles), Nick Hornby, Jeremy Robert Johnson, Carlton Mellick III, Sam Rosenthal, Alan Moore, Bret Easton Ellis, Poppy Z. Brite.
some poets/wordsmiths I enjoy: Wolf Larsen, Walter Rinder, Rod McKuen, Rainer Maria Rilke, Leonard Cohen, Charles Bukowski, James Joyce(Chamber Music), Henry Rollins, Adrienne Rich. - Sobre mí
