Sobre mi biblioteca
We live a divided life, spending the academic year in Brooklyn Heights (in a very small apartment) and the breaks in Maine (where I grew up). A while ago, we put up a barn in Maine and my Dad (God bless him) finished the inside to make a library. While we call it my husband's barn, almost all of my physical books are there. I have come to rely heavily on my Kindle and iPad in Brooklyn, although I do keep some paper books around -- especially poetry, which I dislike reading electronically. Gerry, my husband, teaches philosophy, and we both have wide-ranging interests, so we have a very eclectic mix of books. We are blessed to have so many titles in our library; every year I say I'm going to go out and put them all on LibraryThing but the task seems too daunting. Suffice it to say that books have always been a huge part of my life.
