I thought I had an eclectic collection, then I started adding things to LibraryThing and the charts would suggest otherwise :)

I'm about 1/3 of the way through entering my books. I started a few years ago, then got out of the habit, then realized I need to get back into it when I caught myself buying the my fourth copy of George Packer's Unwinding after assuming, yet again, that I didn't own the book and had just borrowed it.

Public administrator and member in discernment in the United Church of Christ with a bit of an obsession with local politics.

I grew up in Los Angeles, got a Bachelor’s in organizational theory at Pitzer College, then took a break from education in an ill-informed attempt at building a positive net worth. Now I'm trying to Master the Divine with online and weekend classes at Chicago Theological Seminary. During the day—and if I'm honest, a lot of the nights—I manage services for job seekers at the San Diego Workforce Partnership. When I'm not working or studying, you can find me editing the he/hims out of old hymns (“She Leadeth Me” is the current favorite) or spoiling my nieces and nephews... I may or may not maintain the record for the largest single transaction at a local Baby Gap.
