- Sobre mi biblioteca
- My reading in recent years has focused on the founding of the United States, colonial times, revolutionary times until the Jacksonian Era; growing interest in Civil War - read Team of Rivals; interest in the West and Frontier comes and goes.
- Sobre mí
- I published my first novel, "Back to the Homeplace," released spring (2010) meeting my first major retirement work goal. The second novel in series, 'The Homeplace Revisited' released early June, 2011. A novella was added in 2013, "Murder at the Homeplace. "Christmas by the Homeplace" was added in October 2013. Each is available at Amazon.com in both print and Kindle editions. They are now part of "The Homeplace Saga" series of historical fiction family saga stories: http://thehomeplaceseries.blogspot.com/
I retired in June 2009 after 15 years as a professor of management at Emporia State University, School of Business. I was named Professor Emeritus, which was very humbling. My primary hobby is genealogy, specializing in 1850 to 1930, but interested in early colonial settlements in Maryland and Massachusetts, in particular. Enjoy writing about my interests, have co-authored one text book, have written over 80 trade journal articles on business acumen, and published three genealogical works, in addition to academic publishing in journals. Recently published three new Genealogy works and one non-fiction booklet - see at: http://stores.lulu.com/drbillshares
Author of seven current blogs, e.g. http://drbillonretirement.blogspot.com/, http://drbillsbookbazaar.blogspot.com/,
