Sobre mi biblioteca
I tend to buy and keep books that I know I will re-read and consult again. I read many books I do not have room to house, but I know that I can find them again through the public library. I have entered some of these with the tag "RNO" for "read, not owned", because they were memorable and I feel that I "own" their content in my mind.

"Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries."
Sobre mí
I first learned to love books and libraries at the public library in my home town, Madison, New Jersey, and soon branched out to discover the joys of second hand bookstores.

Does anyone else remember the Ben Franklin Bookstore in Washington, D.C.? Alas, it fell victim to "urban renewal" in the 1970's. It was in a narrow, pre-Civil War building, and the prices got cheaper as you climbed the stairs. If you could endure the unheated, un-airconditioned attic where everything cost 5 cents, there were true treasures to be found. Many of these are still in my library.
