I acquire every book with the same sincere intention: "I'll read this one next!" Even though I read fairly quickly, I fell behind on the read-every-book venture some time ago and am still trying to catch up. Still, it's nice to have a variety of subjects and styles to choose from when it's time to start the next book... even if I never get through them all, it's certainly a worthy goal.

My pets (Paxil, Wendy, Oliver, Akane) are the most wonderful things in the universe. Books are definitely a solid runner-up.
