I have books, journals, magazines, and learned articles relating to subjects that I study and think about including, without limitation, the following: American History, Constitutional History; General History; Military History; Military Strategy and Tactics; General Douglas MacArthur; Law; Physics; other scientific disciplines; science fiction; and select works of literature and fiction. I think that there is consilience not only between different fields of science but also between the sciences and non-scientific fields such as the humanities. In my search for consilience, I am most fascinated with the concept of equilibrium as a potential unifying principle. I think that paradoxes and dualities are fascinating to study and think about.

I am a retired ex-prosecutor from Ohio now living in rural Texas. I no longer practice law. I have a B.S. Degree in Physics from The Citadel (Class of 1970) in addition to a Law Degree from the University of Toledo College of Law (1983). I now spend a lot of time reading and studying topics that are of interest to me. I believe in duty, honor, and country. I also believe that obedience to the law is a necessary prerequisite to liberty, that the devil constantly stalks the earth looking for new victims, and that pacifism in the face of evil is not only no virtue but is in fact a vice.
