Sobre mi biblioteca
My library is eclectic and varied. I adore the classics (Thomas Hardy is one of my favourites)and read a lot of science fiction, speculative fiction and some fantasy. I read some romance, but mostly cross-genre with fantasy or science fiction. I also like historical novels and non-fiction. My non-fiction collection spans anything from all the sciences, history, geography, politics, sociology, and philosophy. And I LOVE dictionaries! Sobre mí
I'm a Canadian science fiction writer and ecologist. As a scientist, I work for an environmental consulting firm to help keep our environment healthy for our children and their children. My SF short stories have been translated and published all over the planet, including Romania, Poland, Israel, Greece and North America. I've published three novels to date. My latest, "Darwin's Paradox" explores our relationship with machine intelligence and Nature's intelligence. I also review books and movies; you can find my reviews in various places. My latest book is a guide to writing fiction (The Fiction Writer: Get Published, Write Now!) and adopted by several schools and universities in their writing programs. I also teach online courses and give workshops and host retreats all over North America and Europe (see www.ninamunteanu.com)
