My books are divided here into two groups: frivolous books (mysteries and science fiction) (in the hope that this designation will make it easier to get rid of them when the day for downsizing arrives) and serious books (largely related to Judaism, Jewish history, and Israel, but some "miscellaneous").
May 2013: When I had entered 500 books, I thought that must be a third of my library, but now I doubt it. (And I'm doing some pruning as I go! But of course also acquiring more books.)

I'm adding this information because I'm finding it interesting to see who the people are who also list my books: I'm an ex-professor of medical science who has decided to spend at least the first part of her retirement being a perennial student, and this decision has resulted in a very active, stimulating and satisfying retirement!
