Sobre mi biblioteca
I'M NOT A BOOKSELLER NOR A LIBRARIAN: ALL THESE BOOKS ARE MINE, WERE BOUGHT FOR PERSONAL USE AND ARE PHYSICALLY SHELVED (OR PILED-UP!) AT HOME.

I Joined LibraryThing in 2009 but only started cataloguing my books in June 2013 while moving them to my new home with a (then) spacious library.
As my library is multilingual I preferably use the English LT site and all my tags are mainly in English.
Sobre mí
I have a lifetime interest in books. I'm a compulsive buyer and reader of (mainly) non-fiction books with themes related to:
History (Naval/Maritime, Martial/Warfare, Science/technology, Pre-Renaissance), Astronomy, Games,
Palaeoanthropology, Mystical/Philosophical (Metaphysics, Occult, Religions), Computers, Graphic arts and Photography.
As a rule I don't fancy fiction books (novels) because I'm very strict about detail. We buy a fiction book to willingly be deceived. If the illusion is less than perfect because of the author's lack of research or lack of story-making or story-telling skills reading becomes a painful waste of time. The same is true about motion-pictures specially "historic dramas" which are becoming more action driven, anachronistic and flamboyant each year "thanks" to cheap fancy CGI but at the expense of good story-telling and accuracy.
The fiction themes I seldom read are:
Science-fiction, Sword and sorcery, Occult and Mystical, Crime and Mystery.
