I wrote/produced/directed the critically acclaimed documentary “Behind the Burly Q” the true story of old-time burlesque. The film which aired on Showtime in 2011 was championed by such publications as USA Today and The New Yorker. The book version of “Behind the Burly Q” authored by Zemeckis will be published by Skyhorse publications in 2013. Zemeckis’ currently project “Bound by Flesh” about “Bound by Flesh” about Daisy and Violet Hilton, vaudeville stars, sisters and Siamese twins is an award winning documentary.
