Sobre mi biblioteca
When I think about moving and downsizing what invariably puts an end to these thoughts is "What will I do with my books?" I find rereading one of the great pleasures in life, particularly Jane Austen, Nancy Mitford, Fitzgerald, and Agatha Christie. I read cookbooks for pleasure and have a large collection spanning several centuries. The same for mysteries and children's books.
Sobre mí
I write the Agatha Award winning Faith Fairchild traditional mystery series published by HarperCollins. The 21st, The Body in the Piazza, was published in April. Faith Fairchild is an amateur sleuth, a native New Yorker who finds herself leaving the Big Apple for the more bucolic orchards of New England after marriage to a Massachusetts minister, although in this book she goes further afield as the title suggests. She is a caterer and the books include recipes at the end of each so the narrative is not interrupted—Faith stumbling across a badly bludgeoned body followed by a brownie recipe for example. I have also published 4 juvenile mysteries and a stand alone YA, Club Meds, as well as a series cookbook, Have Faith in Your Kitchen. I grew up in New Jersey, but had lived outside Boston most of my life and in Maine. Reading for me is like breathing.
