Heavy on bestsellers & children's sci-fi/fantasy, but still fairly eclectic. I detest most "literature". Books are entertainment, information, solace, sanctuary; if I have to work my way through it, the point is lost.

I'd rather chop off a finger [even mine] than burn a book; that pretty much says it all. Just as we have more cubic inches of stuffed animal than cubic inches of children, we have more cubic inches of books than cubic inches of people. As a result, I fully expect that my eventual death will involve being crushed to death under the weight of the books that have collapsed the second floor, and I'm okay with that [though the others in residence probably are not].
