Sobre mi biblioteca
My collection is heavy on the classics, as exemplified by the Great Books of the Western World and the Harvard Classics, and on the American presidents, but I am interested in almost everything. Special interests include medieval legends, epics, and sagas and the illustrations of Gustave Dore. The history of mathematics and science is both a personal and a professional interest. Favorite late 20th century authors include Mortimer Adler, James Michener, and Mickey Spillane.
Sobre mí

Fifty-one years an educator at both the public school and university levels, now retired with too much time to read. Most recently taught history of mathematics to undergraduates and research methods to doctoral candidates. My wife and I like to take nice vacations, most recently to Iceland, Australia, Finland, Costa Rica, Chile, and Antarctica.
