- Nigerian banker, poet, and playwright Jekwu Ozoemene was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English from the University of Lagos Nigeria, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Leicester United Kingdom and is currently studying for a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Banking and Finance at the University of Zambia / Binary University College Malaysia.
Jekwu currently works and lives in Lusaka, Zambia and is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank (Zambia) Limited.
His first book, ‘Shadows of Existence - An Anthology of Poetry’ was published in 2009 followed by ‘The Anger of Unfulfillment’ in 2011.
