During the 2008-2009 school year, I worked in a suburban high school library serving around 3,300 students. The reference is located on the top floor and the circulating collection (Fiction, GN, Non-fiction) is all on the bottom floor.
This school district serves a very diverse student population, which was a great opportunity to learn about different tastes.

I'm currently working as a librarian with Harrison College in the LRC (Learning Resource Center) aka library, where I am helping Vet Tech students achieve their academic goals. While this is a fairly small library physically, there are many electronic resources. As part of my duties here I teach students information literacy skills they can use in their brief time here and out in the great wide world.
Sobre mí
After eleven years in advertising/marketing, I returned to school and received an MLS in the summer of 2007.

I enjoy reading, with historical fiction being the genre that I gravitate toward.

I also enjoy movies, travel, video production/archives for friends and family, gardening, live music and outdoor activities.

I'm an improv actor and perform with Comedysportz here in Indianapolis.

I am married and have two sweet daughters. And two mischievous cats named Tater and Tot.
