I read mostly fiction that focuses on the human condition and complex relationships. Recently I've been especially interested in reading works by Asian American authors such as Amy Tan and Celeste Ng as I enjoy the light they shine on current and past cultural differences between Asian Americans and American society. I also enjoy a good mystery novel, and am open to reading almost anything that had engaging character arcs.
