Sobre mi biblioteca

My decision is to not rate sacred books of any kind. Giving a rating to sacred books of other traditions or even my own seems somewhat sacrilegious. I also do not star books if I do not remember anything from them. On the other hand, I also most often don’t rate books that I’ve hated. In those cases, I leave others to come to their own conclusions. Ratings of less than three stars means I disliked the book so much I couldn’t help going public and sharing my dislike for it.

Three stars - an average book.

3.5 stars - an above average book.

4 stars - a really good read and a good book.

4.5 stars - a truly excellent book.

5 stars - this book was life-changing. One of my all-time favorites.

Sobre mí

Except for the wishlist and the books I’m currently reading, these are the books that I've read since 1993 plus a few older reads from before. I now average about 15 books a year. COVID discouraged reading for me, and I’m still not reading 20-25 books a year like I was doing before COVID. Actually, I find that more things are competing for my time now.

My interests include prairie restoration, language learning, and science fiction movies.
