Sobre mi biblioteca
What's not to like? I have a bunch of stuff still to input -this is just what I could think of off the top of my head at work! Slowly but surely I'm adding to it - suggestions are welcome if you see some glaring hole in my collection!
Sobre mí
I'm a Philly chick living and working in Boston - a self-imposed exile I rue daily.

I like science fiction and fantasy, manga/anime/graphic novels; a healthy mix of non-fiction history, lit crit, popular culture and anthropological archaeological topics thrown in for good measure.

I'm also interested in architecture and design (furniture, shared/mixed use spaces, typography and color use, all that good stuff). I'd like to reconcile a desire for the clean lines and minimalism of mid-century modernism and rich design elements of the Arts and Craft movement in my home.

I'm also very interested in urban planning, sustainable development and building practices and the environment. I've read enough science fiction to know just how dangerous it is to continue to screw the planet up any more than it already is.

My dream is to build a home based on the principles of sustainable, organic architecture - terms I'm not just using in the eco-concious sense, but in the way that the building is in tune with its natural environment and my internal environment in terms of personal needs/taste.

Of course, I'm a city girl at heart, so this is a while down the road when I'm older and hopefully wiser. More of the latter, hopefully. I figure I need a really nice home for al the reading i plan on doing...
