I have only rated books that I particularly liked. There are others in my library that I may have liked, but it reflects what I remember reading so far (more will be added). What I have rated is more reflective of my reading interests.Most books I borrow from the Brooklyn, NY Central Library. It is equivalent to having your own candy store.
I do not read science fiction, although I do read science related non-fiction. I also do not read fantasy and rarely read mystery. I like books about other cultures. While not always true, books that have won literary awards or that were finalists, I tend to like. I like to read new authors, who are good writers (often from some good writing programs-e.g. Iowa Writers Workshop). Then again, I come upon a writer who does not fit into one of these categories, and I find I like their work.

Sobre mí

I like reading both fiction and non-fiction. I go through periods where I read one or the other, but sometimes I read both at the same time. I usually read two books at the same time, as I like the change of pace. I like ideas that are on the cutting edge or that may be counter-intuitive.
