John Branney grew up in the United States where he received a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Wyoming and a MBA in finance from the University of Colorado. John followed his interest in geology and science into the oil and gas industry where he spent thirty-four years in various functions from field operations and sales and marketing to engineering and supply chain. John started on his first book entitled Shadows on the Trail and his second book entitled Saving Miguel in 2012 and both were published in 2013.
